Description

Name: Cluster SSH - Cluster Admin Via SSH
License: GPL
Home Page: https://github.com/duncs/clusterssh/wiki
Source: https://sourceforge.net/projects/clusterssh/
Description: ClusterSSH controls a number of xterm windows via a single graphical console window to allow commands to be interactively run on multiple servers over an ssh connection.
Why: It is a "must have" admin tool for managing multiple servers. Similar to "ClusterShell", but more useful for admins. It is available as a package in both Ubuntu and Redhat/CentOS.

ClusterSSH depends on several perl modules, not currently available in repos.

  • CPAN::Changes
  • Exception::Class
  • File::Path
  • File::Slurp
  • File::Temp
  • File::Which
  • Getopt::Long
  • Locale::Maketext
  • Module::Build
  • Readonly
  • Sort::Naturally
  • Test::Differences
  • Test::DistManifest
  • Test::PerlTidy
  • Test::Pod
  • Test::Pod::Coverage
  • Test::Trap
  • Tk
  • Try::Tiny
  • version
  • X11::Protocol
  • X11::Protocol::Other

Some of them are however included at, perl-module-build, perl-module-implementation and perl-module-runtime.

How should we work around that?
Go easy on me :)

Nothing to work around. You need those packages and then new packages for the missing modules.

Thanks @DataDrake. If I understand correctly, we should first submit patches for the missing packages?
