There's also https://github.com/KDE/elisa which seems to be very similar. Haven't used either so no idea how they compare.
Yes there is also elisa, but it has not had a "stable" release to date, AFAIK I didn't think unstable source would be accepted for inclusion in Solus?

Meh I thought this was a better player. It's not very polished. Anyways, package is ready.

@sunnyflunk I would suggest you to rename the task in "vvave" and mark it as "awaiting for package updates". I don't think I have the rights to do this myself.
As this task has been marked Needs Maintainer for a month with nobody having stepped up to become maintainer, in addition to providing an acceptable patch for inclusion, marking as WONTFIX. Feel free to re-open when a patch has been submitted via the proper processes.
@DataDrake, I think this should instead be marked as Waiting for Upstream Update (or whatever it's called) as vvave is a babe rewrite (kinda). The current vvave player is objectively suboptimal as it's not finished.
Sorry was in the zone and didn't write what I meant to say. We've waited awhile for this already, I don't want things like this cluttering the tracker while they are in limbo for literally months.
