Is fcitx-devel in builddep because of .so libs like /usr/lib/libfcitx-config.so? If that is the case, setting

libsplit   : false

in fcitx may be a better solution.

The popularity of .7z varies significantly, depending who you talk to. 7zip is more popular among Windows users, because WinRAR isn't free, and there's no GUI for xz.
I'm not saying that 7z must be set as a rundep of Ark, but wants to point out that 7z is not rare. I searched "7z dataset" in my search engine, and see the following examples among thousands more:

While I understand that only core team members are supposed to re-open tasks, the status of ibus for Asian users remains miserable, as I tried again on my kid's laptop (yes, it's a solus setup) a few weeks ago.
I'm sure there are more than a few users having problem with ibus. There is not a workable solution, and correct me if i'm wrong, there is no solution on the roadmap.

• not using %make_install because klayout's non-standard Makefile will install to DESTDIR with a flat layout. it's easier to install to bin_release/ first, then copy to $installdir with our own commands.

I've used a dozen or so tools for drawing publishing-quality circuit schematics, including GUI tools like visio, libreoffice, xfig, xcircuit, and scripting tools like asymptote, metapost (makecirc), circuitikz. The last time i used xcircuit was in 2005 or so.
The general conclusion is that xcircuit is the better choice among the GUI tools in terms of graphic quality, but only scripting tools are satisfactory to me.

hang on a min, i realize that because i did git rebase, i need to rebuild to update the release number and update the diff.

btw, I packaged it locally. Both the x11 and gl versions worked swimmingly. On pdf files containing large vector graphics, evince/okular are extremely slow in rendering, but mupdf renders instantly.

Another use case:

remove python2 support

The patch actually applies cleanly. Remove .rej/.orig files that implied otherwise.

remove python2 version, and remove some dependencies accordingly.

I only need its python3 version.
